Cambodian Environmental Activist Murdered

Chut Wutty, the Director of the Natural Resource Protection Group (NRPG), a Cambodian NGO that campaigns against the destruction of the country’s forests, was killed this week. He was a human rights activist who worked tirelessle to expose illegal logging and corruption in Cambodia.
